Projects have provided me with the opportunity to develop broad ranges of work around a specific idea and to locate that investigation within a particular collection. My approach has invariable been to freely research and embed myself within the collections and from this begin to establish a critical position from which to make a new body of work. My intention throughout is to make work that can exist in its own rite but that takes on a deeper meaning when seen within the particular context of the collection or museum that inspired the work.
